Welcome to Colbert First Baptist. We hope that you will enjoy your online experience and get a taste of our church. No matter where you are or what season of life you are in, you are welcome here.
Colbert First Baptist is located in Colbert, GA at 65 South 5th Street. We are right in the middle of an incredible community of people. We are thrilled to be a part of what is happening here and hope that you will come visit!
What Can I Expect?
Our church is one that is warm and inviting. We have worship service on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. Before this time we have age graded Bible study for everyone. In addition, here are some highlights you can expect.
- To be greeted at the door.
- To be asked to fill out an information form. You can give us as much information as you're comfortable with. After your visit we'd love to contact you to thank you for visit, and let you know that we are available to answer any questions you might have. We would also like to know if there is anything we could pray with you about.
What Should I Wear?
Anything from jeans to suit and tie can be found at any given Colbert FBC event. During Sunday morning worship, the majority of people are dressed in what would be considered "business casual." Sunday and Wednesday nights are even more casual and comfortable.
Where Will My Children Go?
We offer an age appropriate Sunday school program for everyone starting at 9:45am each Sunday morning. We encourage you to spend a few minutes meeting your child’s teachers and allow your child to become comfortable and adjusted to their classroom. During our Corporate Worship service children 4, 5, and 6 yrs old are encouraged to attend children’s church where they will have their own story, singing and craft time.
Wednesday Nights we also offer Pioneer Club for pre K -4th grade starting @ 7:00pm.
