Colbert First Baptist Church exist to - Exalt God’s greatness, Evangelize God’s world, Equip God’s people and to Express God’s love - through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Exalt God’s Greatness…

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all.” I Chronicles 29:11-13

Evangelize God’s world…

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

Equip God’s people…

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelist, some pastors and teachers for the quipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…” Ephesians 4:11-13

Express God’s love...

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
